Ella Hagen, a junior at Summit High in Colorado, won the inaugural girls championship race at the 37th Roy Griak Invitational by clocking 17:55.7 on the 5-kilometer layout at Les Bolstad Golf Course in Falcon Heights, Minn. Hagen became the third Colorado prep female athlete in meet history to win the top individual title at Roy Griak, joining former Cherry Creek High standouts Jordyn Colter in 2013 and Riley Stewart in 2019.
