Galen Rupp Making Return to the Track Friday Night at the Dempsey in Seattle

Galen Rupp will race the 5,000 meters Friday night at the Washington Indoor Invitational at the Dempsey in Seattle, according to an Oregon Project social media post.

Rupp's last track race came at the 2017 USATF Outdoor Championships where he finished fifth in the 10,000 meters.

Since that race, Rupp won the Bank of America Chicago Marathon. He is scheduled to race the 2018 B.A.A. Boston Marathon in April. He finished second in last year's Boston Marathon.
